EULER n' PI - Una serie di programmi per calcolare la parte decimale dei numeri Pi ed E.  C' è una versione DOS, una per OS/2 1.X  (a 16 bit) ed una per OS/2 Warp (a 32bit). La versione Warp è in effetti due volte più veloce di quella per DOS e di quella per OS/2 1.X perchè utilizza registri a 32 bit invece di 16 bit, come per DOS e OS/2 1.X. Il programma principale è scritto in C ma il calcolo vero e proprio è svolto in assembler, per conseguire una velocità ultra! Questi programmi infatti sono in assoluto i più veloci per i processori Intel!

Questo software è distribuito come pacchetto compresso, da scaricare e installare manualmente; se ci sono prerequisiti da soddisfare, andranno anch'essi scaricati e installati manualmente.

Installazione manuale

Il programma è distribuito come pacchetto ZIP: scaricare in una cartella temporanea e scompattare nella cartella di destinazione. Vedi sotto per il(i) link di download.

EULER n' PI - A set a programs to compute decimals of Pi and E. There is a DOS version, an OS/2 1.X (16bits) and an OS/2 Warp (32bits). Warp is of course twice as fast as DOS and OS/2 1.X since it uses 32 bits register instead of 16 bits for DOS and OS/2 1.X. The main program is written in C but the actual computation is written in assembler for super fast speed. (These programs are the fastest for Intel processor) I could compute 5.000.000 decimals of Pi in a few days on a Pentium !!! Enjoy, and tell me what you think...
