IPx8412 also contains all APAR fixes included in IPx8410, IPx8407, IPx8406, IPx8402, and IPx8401. o APAR = IC23128 CANNOT COPY FILES WITHOUT EA TO NT SERVER. An error is returned by NT servers when an attempt is made to create a file that does not have extended attributes. This can happen when an attempt is made to copy such a file to an NT server. An SMB open should be sent instead of a transact2 open to create a zero EA file. The error is a result of the transact2 open failing on the NT SMB server. The transact2 open SMB is supposed to attach an extended attribute list along with it. o APAR = IC23897 IMPLEMENTATION OF APAR IC20457 INTRODUCED A NEW PROBLEM BY CAUSING UID FOR A REGULAR USER TO BE LOST. After APAR IC20457 was implemented in the redirector, applications running on additional servers lose connections to network drives. o APAR = IC23916 NET FILE SHOWS NULL USERID WHEN FILES OPENED FROM WINDOWS NT M/C WITH PLC OR CLC INSTALLED. To recreate this problem: 1.Logon to OS/2 server from WinNT with PLC or CLC installed. 2.Open few files residing on OS/2 server from WinNT m/c. 3.Execute NET FILE on OS/2 server. Result: The command displays open files with no userid. o APAR = JR11992 INCORRECT RETURN CODES FROM UPMEULGN USING WSOD. When using upmeulgn with mulitlogon=off, you receive return code 12. Problem is similar to IC11736.
