How to install a network adapter driver

To install a network adapter driver, unzip the driver package to a temporary folder then run the "Adapters and Protocols" WPS object, located in the "System - Network" folder. In eComStation it will start the naps.exe program:

  • in the menu, choose "Adapter - Change driver" to update/modify an existing driver, or "Adapter - Add" to add a new driver;
  •  choose "Other adapter", find the path to the temporary folder with the unpacked driver and select OK. The updated driver should be installed;
  • If needed, select "Parameters" and verify that the base I/O port address, IRQ and other settings match those used by your network adapter;
  • if needed, change or add the needed network protocols;
  • in che menu, choose "File - Exit" and reboot.

In a non-eComstation system, the "Network Adapters and Protocol Services" WPS object starts mpts.exe:

  • select "Configure MPTS", then select "Lan adapters and protocols" and choose "Configure";
  • select "Have Disk", enter the path where you unzipped the driver and select "OK". The updated driver should be installed;
  • if needed, click on the "Settings" button and verify that the base I/O port address, IRQ and other settings match those used by your network adapter;
  • add just installed LAN card to your configuration and select required protocols for it using "Add network card" and "Add protocol";
  • press "OK", save, exit and re-boot.
