A note about the future of ecsoft2.org

ecsoft2.org runs on software (Drupal 7 and PHP 7.4) that reached its end of life years ago and no longer receives security updates. Keeping the site online safely is getting harder.

Giving it a future means migrating it to a current platform — and that is only worth doing if people still use it and want to help keep it alive.

If you care about ecsoft2.org, as a user, a contributor, or someone willing to lend a hand, please ggambaattiscali [dot] it (get in touch) by January 31, 2027.

If no one comes forward by then, the site will be turned into a read-only archive, so that its content stays available.

Universal Clock is a multi-timezone 'world clock' application for OS/2.

Universal Clock allows you to configure multiple clock panels, each one representing a timezone of your choice. You can also associate each clock panel with specific geographic coordinates, which enables a day/night indicator for that location. Each clock panel may also use its own font, colours, and formatting preference.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. See below for download link(s).

Following ones are the download links for manual installation:

Universal Clock v. 0.5 (Release 2, 13/12/2019, Alex Taylor) Readme/What's new
Universal Clock & WTDPanel ========================== This is a multi-timezone 'world clock' control and application for OS/2. The implementation is based around a special PM window class, _WTDPanel_, which represents a single clock with a timezone, description, and various configuration and styling options. The application, called 'Universal Clock', allows multiple WTDPanels to be shown and managed. The WTDPanel class, however, could easily be taken for use in other applications or widgets. This design also allows each clock panel to define its own colours, fonts, and string formatting conventions. Note: WTDPanel incorporates the public domain 'sunriset' module by Paul Schlyter.
