EMX port of the Concurrent Versions System (CVS). Features include:

Full client (:ext:, :server: and :pserver:).
Full server (via rshd) and pserver (via inetd).
Documentation in .INF format.
Utility to maintain the password file (for pserver authentication).
Rexx scripts to control access to the repository, to distribute commit messages, and to semiautomatically maintain ChangeLogs. Now with a simple GUI!!

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package, see below for download link(s). Quick install for CVS client:

copy cvs.exe to a folder included in PATH (e.g. \ecs\bin) and .inf files to a folder included in BOOKSHELF (e.g. \ecs\inf)
create a file named \home\default\.cvsrc containing the following line: "cvs -z9"
